Sydney vocal academy partners with major brands and small businesses to host extraordinary workshop & masterclass as Covid-19 restrictions ease.

SYDNEY, NSW, – Rise Academy of Music, located in Sydney’s north, has united major brands and local businesses as it prepares to host an extraordinary vocal workshop & masterclass on the Northern beaches. The academy will be running multiple workshops during the September school holiday period aimed at educating attendees with in-depth topics on singing, acting, performance and media. The event has attracted the support of the Northern Beaches Council and many industry-leading brands such as ASUS, Rode Microphones and Zhiyun Tech. The vocal academy also extends their support to small businesses who have been affected from the Covid-19 pandemic, by offering their expertise, services and products at the workshop. The event also aims to raise awareness to the Throat Cancer Foundation by donating a portion of the proceeds.

Rise Academy of Music will host a comprehensive two-day workshop for teens/adults with guest speakers and vocal specialists, and another one-day workshop for youngsters. Guest speakers will include an ENT specialist from Sydney Voice & Swallowing Clinic, representatives from from Point Break Drama Acting School and Roundhouse Media, as well as internationally acclaimed photographer, Gino Nalini. The workshops will be held at Collaroy Swim Club Community Centre on 26th & 27th September for teens/adults workshop, and on 3rd October for youngsters. Tickets are available online through the academy’s website or via TryBooking.com. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Throat Cancer Foundation. The event will be operating in accordance with current social distancing guidelines for public gatherings so tickets will be limited for both workshops.
